Transitioning Into Fall with Anne Klein
It’s almost that time of the year, where the leaves turn brown, the temperature gets cooler, pumpkins are in season, the holiday traditions and so much more. There are so many reasons that I love Fall. It truly is my favorite holiday and starting this Tuesday, September 22nd, we will officially be in my favorite season of the year. Time to bring out the cinnamon pine cones, Fall wreaths, and pumpkin spice lattes!
As much as I love Fall, one of my favorite things about the season is the fashion. The weather forecast is cold conditions and hot fashion! I live for it. I love wearing sweaters, leather, layering up, and the fall tones.
In Los Angeles, there comes a time in the season that is not quite Fall, because let’s face it, we don’t really get too cold here. And it’s also not quite summer, because the leaves are turning brown and orange, the days get shorter and temperatures are slightly cooler. I like to call this, a transitional stage. Transitional – relating to or characteristic of a process or period of transition.
I recently came across Anne Klein’s AW September collection on Zappos and I am in love! Anne Klein is all about “doing you” and doing a million things all at once. It’s about the everyday woman who is unapologetically complex and balancing many roles. A quote I love from Anne Klein is “ For as hard as she works, our woman needs a wardrobe that just works.” I truly feel this from their collection.
Anne Klein’s AW collection has something for everyone. It includes flats, loafers, heels, sandals and boots. They are perfect for the woman who is always on the go. The new collection also has so many fun patterns. I love the polka dot styles, plaids and cheetah prints.
The style that spoke to me the most is the Weronika Sandal. It fuses a fierce, chic style and premium comfort with a two-piece silhouette, open toe, and studded accents along the ankle strap and heel panel. The studs are so edgy! I feel these sandals encompass my style to a T. They are perfect and just right. I also love that the Weronika Sandals are transitional and can be worn both in the summer and fall. The open toe makes the shoes breathable, and the black material and studs, give it an effortless Fall look.
For today’s look, I wanted it to be timeless and classic, just like my Anne Klein’s. I paired my sandals with a pair of ultra chic, wide, leather pants, and a sheer top that is both practical and stylish.
