Hello! I’m back! I have been traveling for the past two months and I pretty much neglected the blog. SORRY! These past two months have been so busy! I went to Portugal, Spain, Iceland, and Switzerland. I had a blast, but I am so happy to be home with my boyfriend, puppy, family, and friends.
Lots of travel calls for lots of content, so sit tight for the next couple of weeks. I have so much that I want to share with you all!
Eenie meenie, minie moe. I am going to start my travel posts with Switzerland! This country really surprised me. Switzerland has never been on my travel list, but my friend asked me if I wanted to go with her, and I said YES!
Switzerland was absolutely STUNNING! One of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. I also loved that depending on what city you went to, the main language was either French or German. The food was absolutely amazing (I had the BEST Wurst and Rösti ever), and you get the best of both worlds, city life and nature.
In this post, I am highlighting Geneva, my favorite city in Switzerland. I loved that luxury and richness was found at every corner. Rolex here, Lamboughinis there. There was so much fashion and the locals dressed so classy. Definitely my kind of place.
Geneva Highlights:
- Language = French
- Geneva Water Fountain
- St. Pierre Cathedral
- L’horloge Fleurie (floral clock)
- Bourg-de-Four Square
- Pont du Mont Blanc
Dinner at Cafe du Bourg-de-Four. I had the best bolognese.
Fondue is a MUST while in Switzerland. I actually purchased a fondue maker from Amazon as soon as I got home!

Oh Switzerland surprised me too! I visited Zurich and Luzern this summer and both cities are absolutely incredible. I fell in love with Luzern, it was truly romantic and beautiful. I’m so glad you had an amazing time in Geneva. I think next time I go to Switzerland definitely I will go to Geneva and Basel. Can’t wait to hear more about all your travel adventures. So I’d say you definitly have a good excuse for being MIA on here! I’m lime green jelly right now about Switzerland. My husband and I were just talking this morning that we’d really love to visit. I’ve only heard amazing things about it! The streets look like Dinsey princesses should be running around! You look gorgoeous as always! Roasted veggies dipped in fondue is something I’ve had on my mind lately too! I might be taking a few minutes for a Amazon order. You look gorgeous as always btw!

I feel the same. I was travelling so much last month and I still haven’t post half of my blogs. I love Switzerland too, it’s such a nice country and so clean. I been there many times since my family lives in Munich and every time I visited them I went to Zurich or Geneva. Did you go shopping? Gosh they have the most beautiful stores, wish I could afford to shop there 🙂 Glad you had a lovely time.
