Happy Wednesday! For those of you that follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I took a little weekend getaway trip to San Diego a few weeks ago. I can always count on Hotel Tonight, for getting the best rate, on such short notice. I love spontaneity, so this app is perfect for me. I booked my trip on Thursday and checked in that Friday.
We ended up staying at The Andaz San Diego. Conveniently located in the Gaslamp District, The Andaz has a beautiful rooftop pool with the prettiest panoramic city views. The room came with a full bar, snacks and a KEURING, perfect for those morning pick me ups. I loved the artistic, sleek, trendy and modern vibes of this hotel.

I'm not planning any last minute getaways soon as my schedule seems to be full all the way until 2019, haha, but I do have plenty of getaways planned in there, some as short as just overnight stays and in those cases your packing suggestion is perfect as I can basically survive with a toothbrush and a charger, haha. Glad you had a good time in San Diego! That's one of the few places in US I haven't been to, but would love to go. Thomas xx
Woooowwwww… I adore hotels with rooftop pools! Such a nice choice of a place to stay. Now I'm planning a getaway and even have booked a room in a hotel. I always write bring a loot of things to my trip/staycation. I can add nightwear, classy black dress, and some cosmetics to your list.

I've never used Hotel Tonight but it sounds like a wonderful place to book a last minute hotel with a great rate! We've been trying to plan a quick family trip before the summer comes to an end but I'm not sure if we can fit it in our schedule! The hotel looks so amazing! I have been wanting to stay there so BAD! They have the cutest hotel and gorgeous pool. Love what you packed for the weekend! We had a lot of last minute decorations to add, and the staff was eager and willing to help. The food at NYC venues was amazing. They have extremely unique and tasty food. Also this place has great views and beautiful big rooms.
