My Weekend in NorCal

Hey  everyone! Happy Wednesday! This blog post is all about my trip to San Francisco and Napa last weekend. I had an absolute blast with my favorite gal pals! It was actually my first ever girls trip. So crazy, I know!

We stayed at the beautiful InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco, conveniently located in the SOMA district. If you aren’t familiar with the area, it took us about 5-10 minutes in an Uber to get to Union Square and Chinatown. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a delicious chocolate platter.

Our room had the most spectacular view of the city!

One of my favorite parts about the hotel was the exclusive Club lounge on the 6th Floor. We came here for breakfast and we were not disappointed. There was a huge variety of food and it all tasted amazing! They even had champagne and orange juice for Mimosas. YUM!

While in San Francisco, we met up with a few of our friends and hit up the local wine spots and bars. Let’s just say we had a lot of Tapas and Wine over the weekend! Our first stop was Bocadillo’s. We went for Happy Hour and had a few glasses of Rose’ and ate sliders, sausages and bread. (Don’t worry, I have gone to the gym several times since this trip!) Later that night we went to Amelie, which is another wine bar just few minutes away. They had the best Burrata! If you’re ever in the area, I would definitely check them out. We ended the night by going to the bar Harper and Rye. It was very busy that Friday night, but it could be because Golden State was playing.

The bar had a rustic vibe, there was a pool table in the back, a loft and nice bar tenders. Overall our first day in the city was one for the books.

The next day we drove up to Napa for a day of wine tasting. We stayed at the charming Meritage Resort and Spa. Our hotel room had a balcony and a great view of the pool and grapevines. I loved the Parisian style of the rooms.

The Meritage Resort and Spa also had a bar and lounge with a bowling alley and pool table.

After checking into the hotel, we drove over to our first winery, Mumm Napa. We had a great time there. The weather was amazing, the sun was out, and we were able to sit and enjoy our wine outside. The Cuvee was amazing by the way! I still need to buy a bottle now that I’m home.

When we finished our flights, we walked through the Fine Art Photography Gallery. The Wayne Levin Exhibit was currently on display.

InterContinental Hotel in San Francisco with girlfriends sounds fantastic! I was just talking about how my girls and I need a get away soon! What great inspiration! I usually always opt for the lounge as you can't beat the amenities! The pictures you captured of it looks phenomenal! Meritage Resort and Spa looks lovely as well and I adore Parisian style of the rooms too! Who doesn't love a nice balcony?! Also, you have to get the sliders and tasty beverage on a girls trip! It's pretty much a grown up sleep over right?! Manda | http://EvocativelyChosen.com

What a fun trip! I love NorCal and SF is one of my favorite cities. The Intercontinental Hotel in SF is such a great location and that Executive Lounge is the best! The spread there looks incredible. Napa is always a great idea and the Meritage Resort looks beautiful. I love the decor of the rooms. I am glad you got to taste a lot of wine and now I need to try that Cuvee! xoxo, Christinehttp://dailykongfidence.com/

Dear Tandya,This is incredibly beautiful and fascinating. As I opened your link on my desktop computer I was amazed at the gorgeousness of each capture. The dresses are simply stunning and I'm obsessed by your hair. Still , with all the fabulous foods , interiors and scenic spots you shared you stand out as the most exquisite. The chocolates in the hotel are screaming my name as well as the sliders, sausages and breads. This weekend of Tapas, Wine and Fine Art is definitely something I'd like to do soon!

Ooh this is such an awesome Norcal trip. I'm actually heading to San Francisco later this week and I haven't booked any hotel. Might have to check out InterContinental Hotel because it looks so lovely. How far is the drive to Napa from SF? It's not part of my plans but if you were able to drive there, I imagine it'd be super fun to stop by too. I love both of your outfits you showed here. The dress you wore in SF is so cute, and I adore the booties you wore in Napa. It's very smart to wear long sleeves or a jacket in Norcal weather. Styling on point!-Lily from With Love Lily Rose

I stayed at the InterContinental Hotel in SF just last month. Totally loved it, great location, amazing food at its restaurant, large and spacious room and most importantly, they have great service throughout the whole hotel. I went to Napa for a weekend right after SF too. Haha…looks like it's a popular route for sure! What I didn't visit was the MEritage Resort! OMg it looks so stunning. xx, Jessiehttp://4evajessie.com/getting-beach-ready-with-na-kd/

Wow, both hotels look stunning. InterContinental Hotel's Club Lounge looks amazing! The breakfast is incredibly mouthwatering, but I'm so in love with the Meritage Resort though. It has a bit of a Spanish feel and the interior is gorgeous. Believe it or not, even though I'm from NorCal, I never visited Napa Valley, but this post totally inspired me to go next time and I'm definitely staying at the Meritage! xoxo,Maggie S.❤Clothestomidnight.com

Both hotels in San Francisco and in Napa look incredibly beautiful and luxurious! I'd love to visit San Francisco one day, so you got me covered. The room and all the facilities are just the way I like it. Aww and every single dish looks so delicious! And the Meritage Resort and SPA, what can I say? It's a heavenly place to stay. I bet you spent a lovely holiday with your friends. Cheers, Eliza | http://www.fashion-confession.com

Both hotels you stayed at looked amazing, I think i favour the second one a little more because, like you said, it had a sort of parisian vibe to it! On top of that you got a bowling ally and a spa? Count me in for both haha!It looked like you had an amazing time with the girls! It's something I'd love to venture out and go to myself as I've been to neither San Fran or Napa! Also i'm a fan of your cute outfit! I have never seen a breakfast like that at any hotel! That's awesome the have that instead of the plain and boring continental breakfast most have lol. San Fran sounds like so much fun, I hate that we had a change of plans and won't be able to check it this year. But now I definitely want to check out the fabulous Mumm Napa too! Will definitely have to plan for both in the future!
