Airbnb Escape to Joshua Tree | Archives and Favs

As most of you probably know by now, one of my favorite staycation spots is in Joshua Tree. Just a few hours from LA, it is the perfect escape when you’re looking to get away from all of the hustle and bustle. I love Joshua Tree because of the beautiful scenery, the peace, and the serenity. When in the desert I feel at ease like I can finally think and have a clear mind. We have booked all of our Joshua Tree trips using Airbnb. My personal favorites are Bob’s Homestead and the Desert View Hideaway.

Bob’s Homestead holds a special place in my heart because it is where we had our engagement moon. Jon and I got engaged in September 2018 and took a trip to Joshua Tree to celebrate and take our engagement photos. Take a look at our engagement story here. Bob’s Homestead was such a perfect getaway. It had beautiful 360 views, a cozy indoor fireplace, a tipi outside, and the perfect outdoor swing to enjoy morning coffee. Bob’s Homestead was perfect for two, and we were able to bring our little pup as well.

Another Joshua Tree favorite of mine is the Desert View Hideaway. My mom and I took this trip last Summer. We were looking for a last-minute getaway and scored this amazing house on Airbnb a few days before the trip. I loved the Desert View Hideaway because it was bright, airy, and had amazing views from the living room and bedroom. This house is nestled on a hill and is 5 minutes from Joshua Tree National Forest and the town.
