Prints for the Summer

Don't you just love Summer? The warm temperatures, the sounds of the birds chirping, the beaming sun and longer days! It is one of my favorite seasons for obvious reasons.

I am loving all things print as of late, and when I saw this Sikaa African Print blazer, I knew I had to have it! This blazer is structured, has a slim fit and can be dressed up, or dressed down. I went with a casual, chic look. Heels, jeans, my favorite city bag, and this blazer that is currently becoming one of my favorite staple pieces.

New York Outfits

Hey everyone! I am back from New Yowk! Yes, I know that I spelled it wrong, I wanted it to be read with an accent. I had so much fun on my girls trip to the city! As I previously mentioned we went for our annual girls trip/bachelorette party!

In this post, I am highlighting all of my favorite outfits from this vacay. I'll write about the restaurants, and the bars we went to in my next post. They were AMAZING and deserve their own post! In the meantime, you can check out my "New York" Instagram Highlights here. All outfits are linked below.

Let the Travels Begin

Is it just me, or has this year flown by? It feels like we just celebrated Christmas, and now we are at the end of July! I really hate how fast time flies, but I am very excited for the next few months! I have decided to change paths in my career (I'll have a whole blog post on this later), and over the next few months, I plan to travel!

I seriously had my first passport before I turned one,  and I am so glad that I can now travel at will.

Here's a breakdown of my trips so far.

Trip 1: New York! My girlfriends and I usually plan our annual trips around June/July and this time we are going to New York! It will be more of a dual trip because we are also celebrating a Bachelorette Party! This is my first friend who is getting married and I am SO excited for this.

Trip 2: Portugal and Spain. I haven't been to Portugal for almost five years! I'll be in Faro in August and will take a road trip to the coast of Spain.

Trip 3: Iceland! I am so excited for this trip since I have never visited before! Iceland has always been on my bucket list of places to travel to. Remember the friend that's celebrating her Bachelorette in New York? She's saying "I do" in Iceland! I am so happy for her and can't wait to celebrate her love with her future husband, as one of her maid of honors. Any recommendations highly appreciated.

Trip 4: Switzerland. The last stop on my upcoming trips.... for now. This is one is going to be very interesting for me. I never really had Switzerland on my radar until my friend suggested that we go. I really don't know what to expect, what to do, or anything. I'll definitely have to do my research for this one. There's something so exciting about going somewhere you never really imagined you would.

Now about this outfit. I am obsessed with this snakeskin belt bag by GG Maull! I actually planned this whole look around it. The hat is by Lack of Color and the jacket is by NAKD. Linking below.

The Button Up Dress of the Summer

Hey hey! Happy Sunday! I was supposed to go to an antique market today, but I decided to be a little more proactive and work on a few blog posts! This one is definitely overdue. I received so many questions about this Urban Outfitters dress! Linen and button ups are one of the hottest trends this season! When you shop online and in stores, you see them all over the place in stores such as Urban Outfitters, ASOS, Banana Republic, Mango, and the list goes on! I have linked my dress and several others below. Happy shopping!

VIP at the Getty Museum

Ahh, happy Saturday. There is nothing that I love more than spending the weekend at a museum. Weird, I know, but for some reason, I get inspired every time I go. I love a good art museum, and let me tell you J. Paul Getty had great taste! The Getty Museum is one of my favorite museums, 1. It's local, 2. The great artwork, 3. I love the architecture and 4. The views of LA are breathtaking.

I decided to wear this VIP Shop set to the museum and it was perfect. Easy to move around in, not too warm, and it was thick enough to prevent me from getting cold from the breeze. You can shop it here. I am loving muted green tones for the Summer as well. Use code "Tandya1065" at to get $5 OFF of Orders Over $50!

Advice: When ordering from VIP Shop, I would suggest ordering a size up. If you do happen to need to make an exchange, the process is very quick! I ordered one size too small, and I received a replacement within a week. Great customer service!
